Inexpensive. Clean. Great for a quick stop when traveling through Knoxville. Juice, pastry, fruit, cereal, fresh milk, and coffee for breakfast. Checkout at 11. And, accessible to the freeway.

Let me preface this by saying, this is a 2-star hotel and you get what you pay for. It wasn't the worst place we've ever stayed, but I don't know that I would stay here again. For the money, it wasn't horrible. This is a two-story hotel with no elevator, which is worth noting up front. The neighborhood felt a bit rough, so we requested an upstairs room for safety reasons. We stayed for a full week, but since we only had to carry our luggage up once, the lack of an elevator wasn’t a big issue for us. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Our room had a refrigerator but no microwave, which was a bit disappointing. However, the staff kindly allowed us to use the microwave in the breakfast room even outside of breakfast hours, which we appreciated. Breakfast was very basic—mainly coffee and carbs. Since we weren’t interested in either, we usually skipped it, ate food we kept in the fridge, or grabbed something while out. If you’re factoring in the cost of a “hot breakfast” when booking, keep this in mind. Depending on your situation (especially if traveling with multiple people), it may actually be more cost-effective to stay somewhere slightly more expensive that includes a substantial breakfast rather than eating out every day. The room and bathroom were relatively clean, though I wouldn’t recommend walking barefoot on the carpet. Other reviews mentioned roaches, but we stayed seven days and did not see a single one. There was no blow dryer in the room—even though it’s listed as an amenity—so bring your own if that matters to you. We brought our own toiletries and did not request daily housekeeping. About halfway through our stay, the trash was taken out and towels were replaced. The housekeeping staff member was very pleasant. Our room was designated non-smoking and did not smell bad at all, though the hallway sometimes did, likely due to nearby smoking rooms (and yes, this is Tennessee). Also worth noting: the room only had one set of pillows, so if you like to sit up in bed while reading or watching TV, you may want to bring extras. Overall, this hotel met our needs, with friendly staff and a reasonably clean room, but it’s best suited for travelers who know what tradeoffs they’re comfortable with and plan accordingly.

Best deal for the money. The rooms are reasonably clean and neat. The wall murals have got to go. Too busy. The cleaning staff is A1 professional. They shampoo the hallway carpets and the rooms too, according to some schedule. Jay, the general manager runs a tight ship. The clientele is definitely on the better side. Not much of a problem with pot wafting in the hallway, no partying in the hallways. No unseemly activity as you might find in this price range. A godsend for some.

I thought it was fine for a budget motel. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, heater worked. Close to restaurants, groceries, what have you. It's old and could use some updating, but that's what you get with a Super 8. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

A diamond in the rough!! Really nice little place. The room was clean!! The bathroom was clean, the bed was comfortable. There were no signs of mold, or pests. I had a great night sleep on a comfy clean bed with lots of pillows, and clean sheets. Nice sized towels too.

Reserved queen room and it was double, assured this was just a small queen. Staff was pleasant and friendly, prompt at window. Value could have been better for amenities and time from check in to check out. Late check in and Left just after 6am, breakfast room not open for any grab and go as wee were getting on road again to head home. Convenient location right off I75.

I would say my one-night stay at the hotel was good, especially considering the price. The room and bathroom were clean, and overall, it was a positive experience.
